French and New York based saxophonist Alex Terrier is a member of the Grammy Award winning Mingus Big Band. He leads several of his own projects and travel the world as a demanded sideman, guest artist and clinician.
His new album Camina Tú featuring his Franco-Cuban band was released on April 30, 2019 (happy Jazz Day!). His previous album was recorded with legendary pianist Kenny Barron. He has shared the stage and/or recorded with luminaries such as Paquito D’Rivera, Juan Ospina, Joe Farnsworth, George Garzone, Esperanza Spalding, Joe Lovano, Roberto Fonseca, Idan Raichel, Vieux Farka Toure, just to name a few.
After studying at the National School Of Music in France, he went to Berklee College Of Music in Boston in 2004 to obtain a Bachelor Degree in Performance and Composition.
